Rene Negron — Director of Investments

Rene Negron is the Director of Investments at Sierra Capital Partners. He joined the firm in 2026, and is responsible for developing the firm’s overall investment strategy, macroeconomic outlook, asset allocation frameworks, and investment manager due diligence.

Rene has 10+ years of experience working in the financial industry across M&A banking, private equity, and investment management. Prior to joining Sierra Capital Partners, Rene was a Senior Research Analyst at BigSur Partners, a multi-family office, in Miami, FL. Prior to BigSur, Rene was a Private Equity Associate at KKR in New York, where he worked on North American Industrials transactions. Rene started his career as a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst at Evercore in New York, advising on transactions in the consumer, transportation, media, and industrials verticals.

Rene holds undergraduate degrees in Finance and Psychology from the New York University Stern School of Business, and also completed semesters abroad in Paris and Sydney. Rene is an avid golfer, traveller, and art & music enthusiast.
